Here’s some books I’ve found to have good practical value for people new to DSP:<\/p>\n

  1. Understanding Digital Signal Processing<\/strong> (3rd Ed.), Richard G. Lyons, 2010, ISBN-10: 0137027419.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 An excellent book to help you apply DSP to real world problems.\u00a0 There are some nice explanations of the theory as well that makes for a good refresher on the basics of DSP.\u00a0 A good book for the working engineer who needs to solve a problem or learn a few new tricks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. The Scientist & Engineer’s Guide to Digital Signal Processing<\/strong>, Steven W. Smith, 1997, ISBN-10: 0966017633.\u00a0\u00a0 This is an excellent introduction to the subject with some of the best explanations for the Laplace and Fourier transform I’ve ever read.\u00a0 Lots of practical examples for both one and two dimensional signal processing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
